So I’ll skip through the covid part. I think we all lived it and saw it first hand. Isolation. Man... did a lot of people not see that one comming. It really pushed everyones mental limits. Some people even lost their goddamn mind. Im I hitting too close to home? There must be a sociological experiment out there that was already studied on this matter. I do not know it, but in this instance, we were the subjects a.k.a the lab rats. I know most people realized who were the real people in their lives. Real how? The only 2 people that probably checked on you over a period of 8 months in the midst of a global pandemic. It made people go into depressive states and increased their anxieties. Some people even killed themselves. It was the result of having too much time to think, not doing much, being confined, and away from the only people they knew. So, those that are still here, I hope you realize that your 400+ Instagram friends are not going to save you, nor do they care how you are doing. You think they care because they like your stuff? Think again. What im trying to say is that we need to realize that we need to hold on to the handful of lovable people in our lives. The ones you know in your heart to be true. Those are the only ones that truly matter. That is the lesson. Quality over quantity. You don’t need 98 pennies when you have 1 golden dollar.
